STUDIO POLICIES
RESPECT YOUR INSTRUCTOR AND CLASS PROGRAMMING
We expect that you respect your instructor and their programming. You shall not do anything that you feel unsafe doing and should ask for modifications when necessary; however, we do not permit doing your own exercises or variations of an exercise. This is not only out of respect for your instructor, but also out of respect for the rest of the class and your safety. If you have concerns over this policy, please email us at help@graduatepilates.com, we are happy to explain further.
RESPECT THE COMMUNITY
We ask that you treat the community with respect. This includes all other participants and guests inside our four walls and people and the property in the neighborhood.
RESPECT THE EQUIPMENT
We ask that you are careful with the equipment and clean off your station when you are done using only the supplied cleaning solutions. This ensures that our equipment remains in good condition, and does not void any warranties. We also deep clean and maintain the equipment throughout the day.
NO SHOES IN THE EQUIPMENT AREAS & GRIP SOCKS REQUIRED
No street shoes shall be worn in the equipment areas (Instructors may wear clean shoes) No shoes of any kind are allowed on the equipment. Grip socks are required to participate--no exceptions. We have affordable options onsite for purchase or you can bring your own. If you cannot afford to purchase a pair and did not bring a pair with you, please notify your instructor and we will our best to help. This is for your safety and the sanitation of the equipment.
ALL PERSONAL BELONGINGS SHOULD BE PLACED IN A LOCKER
Our space is limited and we need the area free of personal items. We have lockers and locks (available for purchase) to secure your personal property.
NO PHONE USE IN CLASS
We prefer you place your phone in a locker, however, we understand that it is sometimes necessary to have your phone nearby for work and/or family so have a space for you to secure your phone at your reformer. We ask you to place your phone on silent and if you need to use your phone for any reason (even a quick text), we require that you excuse yourself and step to the lockers or outside.
NO PHOTOS OR FILMING DURING CLASS
There is absolutely no filming or photography during group class by participants, unless explicit permission has been given by your instructor. We understand social media is a big part of our lives, but it is important that there are limited distractions for safety.
You can take a photo before or after class. If you seek to take videos or photos during self-practice, please seek permission from the staff onsite and we ask that you do not include anyone in your media without their permission.
Graduate Pilates employees may take videos or photos from time to time. If you do not wish to be included in these, please email us at help@graduatepilates.com
While we appreciate social media tags, if you are looking for more impactful ways to spread the word and promote our business, a positive google review or bringing a new friend to class goes a long way.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR NOTIFYING INSTRUCTOR OF INJURIES OR LIMITATIONS
It is your sole responsibility to let your instructor know if you have any doctor's restrictions, injuries or limitations--every time, regardless of whether you have been explicitly asked. This include pregnancy. If you do not want to share this publicly, please pull the instructor aside and let them know you prefer to keep your condition private.
LATE CANCELLATION / NO SHOW PENALTIES
We offer a 6 hour window for all group classes. Any cancellation within 6 hours of your scheduled class will result in loss of credit(s.) We offer a 12 hour window for all private lessons. Any private lesson cancelled within 12 hour window will result in loss of credit(s.)
