Pilates Instructors Wanted

We are looking for Pilates instructors to teach group classes and private lessons out of our East Nashville Pilates studio.

Additionally, instructors will be responsible for creating a positive environment within the studio, assisting with operations, and creating evangelists out of members. When scheduled, but not teaching, instructors will participate in paid activities like class planning, professional development, continuing education, and marketing activities like content creation and events.

All instructors will be required to attend a (paid) training to learn consistent class planning strategies. There will be format guidelines provided to the instructor, but leave room for the instructor to have exercise programming freedoms.

We are looking for someone who values the core principles. We are a contemporary studio but prioritize the foundations and limit creative programming to provide a consistent experience where our members can practice the exercises over time and track their progress.

A sample class will be provided during the interview process to ensure our style is also a good match for your professional goals and teaching style.

This will be an hourly W-2 position with no expectations to do work outside of your scheduled and paid hours. See FT vs PT below.

Full Time Opportunities

This role is for a Pilates instructor looking for a full time position who wants to build a career within the studio.

• Must be confident teaching group classes & private lessons.

• Requires a fully comprehensive Pilates certification.

• Strong background in movement, anatomy, and fitness principles.

• 32-40 Hours / Week [Approx. 65% Teaching & 35% Non-Teaching Duties]

• Non-exclusive role–meaning you can still maintain a personal training schedule that does not conflict with your role and responsibilities at Graduate Pilates.

• Predictable hourly rate: $38-$45/hour [W-2] depending on experience. No per head variables or reduced hourly rate for non-teaching hours.

Part Time Opportunities

This role is for a Pilates instructor looking for a part time position.

• Must be confident teaching group classes & private lessons.

• Must teach minimum on mat & reformer. Apprentices considered.

• Targeted hours 3-18 Hours/ week

• Non-exclusive role–meaning you can still maintain a personal training schedule that does not conflict with your role and responsibilities at Graduate Pilates.

• Predictable hourly rate: $32-$45/hour [W-2] depending on experience. No per head variables or reduced hourly rate for non-teaching hours.
